oh DEER! Women's Gellato Pump

This particular shoe has been out since July...? And some retailers still want to sell it at nearly $100? Not that Amazon is always great on prices, but this is fantastic! $38.99 is a steal! And if I hadn't waited too long, I could have gotten one of the Gellato Glitter heels for $55.00 on Amazon---but they're unethical and jack up and lower prices on a whim so...

Fit/Size/Comfort:
Worry came along with purchasing these because many reviews all over the net had been saying these things had fit issues and some girls had to go down 1/2 a size! But their cirmcumstances differed from mine because they either had narrow heels or toes. I've traditionally been a 10M and Oh Deer shoes have never been a problem with me. For sure I don't have narrow feet and they aren't wide---I guess they're just average. I first slipped these on without re-clapsing the buckle so I thought I got the wrong size but one, two, three holes down on the strap and they were perfect!

It bugs me some that my heel doesn't back all the way into the heel covering. This is slight paranoia though. The shoe fits. It appears, TO ME, that there is A LITTLE gapping. However, I watched a video of this shoe being modeled on HSN and it appeared like there was space or gapping between the heel and heel covering. So, the shoe's style must make this happen with or without having narrow toes or heels. Plus gravity makes you sink down in shoes.

How do they feel?
All is well as long as you don't need to run or walk anywhere far.
If I'm parking yards away from an event or party I whip-out the flats seriously. I'm not going to lie, if you're heavier and/or hardly wear heels at all have realistic expectations. They're not the worst but since they're 4.5 inches tall expect some fatique.

Look/Design:
This is Oh Deer's best selling style to date and the different designs have really been innovative. I love the "Ribbon" heel and my heart soared with the introduction of the "Gellato" in sequins and glitter!

I bought mine in silver and they're gonna be great for the holidays and nights out! I really admire that the heel is not covered in sequins but in a quality silver leather! The scalloped lace-inspired trim running around the toe, the exposed sides of the heel, and the upper are also in silver leather. Reminds me of the silver foil around candy bars; that's how nice it is. The reflection from lights overhead is what gets me. The sequins cast their discoball reflection around your feet on the floor. But before anyone could notice that, they'd notice you beaming with pride first. There really aren't anything like these shoes.

The sequins are sewn onto a silver fabric and are sewn next to each other rather than on top. This is the same pattern of sewing on the "Jamocha" and "Ribbon" shoes. This is great because they look uniform but also because they are secured. String is lapped about 4 times around each understated sequin. I last reviewed the "Waldorf" heel in houndstooth and was disappointed that the overlapping sequins on it were not so well secured.

The oriental pattern on the insole is real fabric. Keep your feet clean.

Overall, this is a "WOW" holiday/party/bridal shoe that had tons of work devoted to it.
It'll have you and those around you saying, "Hello lover!"
