Nine West Women's Undertoe Peep Toe Slingback

Really comfortable, but tests your coordination...

As a "vertically challenged" (5'4") guy married to a 5'6" giant (HA!), I usually try to avoid heels which are too feminine. This shoe was on sale and the height and platform pushed me to buy them....

The shoe looks somewhat U-G-L-Y in the picture, but actually looks really nice on your foot.

They fit true to size and and the laces allow you to adjust fit along the top of the foot for max comfort and security.

I usually lean towards wedges because the heel tends to disappear under your pants, but the additional height pushed me to ordering these.

If you aren't already a "professional" heel wearer,you need to practice walking in these before wearing them out for a long time. I am quite comfortable in heels, but find that these can be challenging at times, especially when walking down slight inclines and on steps.

I've worn them 3 times now and one night to the casino for about 5 hours. They were comfortable to wear and weren't "painful" but you have to focus on walking naturally...

That being said, the height is truly a wonderful thing. My wife wore western boots with about a 2" heel and these actually allowed me to appear to be about 1" taller than her for once.

I was concerned that they may become painful during the evening, but I stood at the craps table for a couple of hours and roamed the slot machines looking for that winner and didn't feel anything... Calves were a little sore, but that's not the shoe's fault...

If you like and are comfortable in HIGH heels, these are great. A little practice and anyone will love this shoe!
