BCBGirls Women's Ariel Peep Toe Pump

I bought the metallic peep toe pumps in my normal BCBG size. I found the toe box to be a bit on the narrow side, so beware if you have wide feet. I like the metallic patent leather as it makes me feel like I'm living centuries in the future and the shoes can be dressed up or down. The construction of the shoes was not that great, there were a few stitches in the back heel seam that stuck out and rubbed the first time I wore the shoes. The patent didn't match up perfectly with the material on the bottom of the shoe so I had to cut off and re-glue some areas that didn't fit together properly. I'm irritated that I had to do that, if I paid full price for these shoes I would have sent them back for a different pair that passed quality control.

Also, as I'm leaving this review, Amazon put the shoes on sale for under $30...I wish they did that earlier like when I purchased my shoes!

BCBGirls Women's Piper Peep Toe Flat

I like BCBG shoes because they are consistent with the sizing, are not painful to wear, and make my feet look good. BCBG missed the mark on these shoes on the comfort criteria though. The piper flats have elastic at the back of the shoe and this has caused A LOT of discomfort. The elastic is so tight that it shoved my foot forward a centimeter or so and left a purple indentation along the back of my foot. I have narrow feet so I don't think my feet alone will stretch out the elastic. I may have to take these to a shoe repair shop or find a creative way to stretch out (and weaken) the elastic.

Other than that, the shoes are cute and the brown hue I bought has a bronze sheen which is a nice touch.

Nine West Women's Overnout Peep Toe Pump

I like nine west shoes and this is no exception, it is a quality shoe at a great price. The only problem I tend to have with Nine West shoes are the sizing. The 5.5's are too big for me, my heels slip out all the time, but the 5's are very tight. So I have a love hate relationship with these shoes. Love the way they look, hate the way they feel. :)

I bought these in the store and then got home, inspected them more closely and ended up returning them...although the leather is great quality and the shoe is adorable in person, the fit on my was sort of strange. The shoe fit me perfectly in the front part of my foot but then didn't seem to get narrower along with my foot, so I felt unsteady walking in them and the leather sort of poufed out on the sides of my feet, making them look wider (I'm a solid medium width foot, not narrow or wide). This might have just been my personal experience...great-looking shoe though!

These shoes made me smile the minute I put them on. They are high and have akinny heel, so be prepared. Good quality. Comfortable. I did not keep these shoes for two reasons: they are high for me and I was going to be wearing them at an all-day function so I was worried about comfort; and the sort of loafer style peep toe area is very narrow and I could see my toes on the other side of the peep toe, and well they kind of look like a butt crack, and I just thought it was unattractive. But that's just me.

I ordered these shoes in the black and was surprised at how high the heel was when I took them out of the box. But, when I put them on I couldn't tell it was a 4" heel. The shoe is very comfortable and no break in was required. The heel is sturdy and the pop of chrome is amazing. The shoe fit true to size. You won't be short on compliments when you wear these shoes! I want to order the purple ones next.
A word of caution - the bottom is very slick so you will need to add an abrasive pad to the bottom or rough them up a bit before wearing them on carpet.
